Active P1 Splitter Pro
Connect up to 6 P1 devices simultaneously
CONNECT UP TO 6 DEVICES
The P1 Splitter Pro features from 2 to 6 outputs, allowing you to connect up to 6 devices to your smart meter simultaneously, without interference or data loss. While most splitters offer only 2 or 3 ports, this model provides extra capacity at an affordable price. Four ports are unique in its class – perfect for a smart home with multiple devices!

ELECTRICALLY ISOLATED SIGNALS
The P1 Splitter Pro uses galvanic isolation. In simple terms, each port is electrically separated from the others. This ensures that every device has its own secure connection to the smart meter, without interference or conflicts. If one device malfunctions, it doesn’t affect the others. Your smart meter stays protected, and all devices continue to work smoothly together.

EASY TO INSTALL
Installing the P1 Splitter Pro is as simple as plug and play. Just connect the included P1 cable to your smart meter and attach your devices to the splitter’s outputs. Within a minute, everything is ready, allowing multiple devices to read real-time data simultaneously.
Each output on the splitter features a status LED. The LED indicates when a device is connected and blinks during data transfer. This way, you can immediately see if a device is receiving data correctly—no extra checks or apps required.

COMPATIBLE WITH ALL P1 DONGLES
Whether you’re using a Wi-Fi P1 dongle from brands like HomeWizard, Homey, Xemex, or Tibber Pulse, the Active P1 Splitter Pro works seamlessly with all of them. It also supports standalone P1 devices such as thermostats, energy managers, or data loggers. Thanks to its active signal amplification and galvanic isolation, you prevent interference or conflicts. This ensures that all your P1 dongles and devices receive data simultaneously and reliably, just as intended.

SIGNAL BOOST, ENHANCEMENT, AND LONGER CABLES
With the Smart Gateways P1 Splitter Pro, you don’t have to worry about signal loss. This active splitter boosts your smart meter’s signal up to 10 times, ensuring all your devices receive reliable data every time. No interference, no glitches – just stable, dependable performance.
Additionally, the P1 Splitter Pro allows you to use longer extension cables. This means you can place your smart devices exactly where you need them, without weakening the signal. Flexible, simple, and ready for any smart home setup!
POWERING THE P1 SPLITTER PRO
The P1 Splitter Pro operates without additional power when connected to a DSMR5+ smart meter with one or two P1 dongles or devices. No extra cables or adapters are needed. The splitter features a power LED that indicates it is receiving power from the smart meter, so you can always be sure the meter is supplying electricity.
If you use more devices, you can easily connect the optionally available USB-C power kit. A separate LED shows when the USB-C power is active, ensuring the signal remains strong and stable even with multiple dongles or longer cables. Flexible, reliable, and exactly what you expect from Smart Gateways.

What is the Difference Between an Active and Passive P1 Splitter?
An active P1 splitter amplifies and isolates the signal for each port, while a passive splitter is essentially just a Y-cable. Active splitting prevents interference and conflicts between devices, ensuring reliable data for all connected equipment.
Can I Connect Multiple Devices to the P1 Port of My Smart Meter at the Same Time?
Yes, with an active P1 splitter, you can connect up to four devices simultaneously without any interference. Each device operates independently, ensuring reliable data for all connected equipment.
Is the Active P1 Splitter Compatible with All Smart Meters?
Yes, it is fully compatible with all DSMR versions (DSMR2, DSMR3, DSMR4, and DSMR5+) in the Netherlands, Belgium, and throughout Europe!
Do I Need an Additional Power Supply for the Active P1 Splitter?
For DSMR5 smart meters, an additional power supply is usually not needed, as they provide sufficient power. For older meters or when connecting multiple devices, using an optional USB-C power adapter is recommended.
Can I Connect an EV Charger to the P1 Splitter?
Yes, the splitter is compatible with EV chargers from brands such as Alfen, EVBox, Easee, Zaptec, and Wallbox. This ensures that load balancing via the P1 port remains stable at all times.
Is the Active P1 Splitter Compatible with HomeWizard, Powerbaas, SmartStuff, Tibber Pulse, Slimmelezer+, or Homey Energy Dongle?
Yes, you can connect all P1 meters or dongles to the splitter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, all popular Wi-Fi P1 dongles work seamlessly with the splitter, without any interference or signal issues.
Thanks to galvanic isolation, each device has its own dedicated signal line. Any interference or fault on one port does not affect the others.
Yes, the splitter supports connections with solar inverters from brands such as GoodWe, Huawei, SolarEdge, and SMA, allowing you to monitor both consumption and feed-in in a single overview.
Each port has its own LED that blinks during data transmission. Additionally, you can instantly see whether the splitter is powered via the P1 port or the USB-C connection.
Yes, because the signal is actively amplified by 10 times, you can use longer P1 cables without any loss of quality.
Yes, thanks to optocouplers and galvanic isolation, your smart meter is protected from interference and backflow voltage.
Passive splitters often cause interference when multiple devices read data simultaneously. Active P1 splitters completely solve this problem, ensuring reliable and conflict-free operation for all connected devices.
You can connect up to four devices simultaneously, each with its own isolated output and individually amplified signal.
Installation is plug & play: connect the P1 cable from your smart meter to the splitter, attach your devices, and optionally plug in a USB-C power supply. The status LEDs immediately show whether everything is working correctly.
