Easy to install

The S0 Gateway works with most intermediate meters. In fact, intermediate meters often have an S0 connection that pulses during consumption or return of energy. The gateway is suitable for measuring energy from meters of the Siemens, ABB, Landis+Gyr, Iskraemeco, Kamstrup, EMH metering and Schneider Electric brands .

Open Standards

Suitable for most intermediate meters

Most intermediate meters have a two-wire connection that pulses during operation. This connection, also called DIN EN 62053-31 connection, can be connected to the S0 gateway. You can find in the manual of the intermediate meter if it has a S0 pulse connection, often marked 1000imp/kWh as shown in the picture below. Can I track my energy consumption in real time?

Of course! The S0 Gateway continuously reports energy usage so you can always see what your usage is.

Can I use the S0 Gateway even without home automation software?

As with all our gateways, you can subscribe to the Online Energy Dashboard. You can choose this option at checkout. You can decide later, of course.

Is the S0 gateway suitable for my intermediate meter?

The S0 Gateway is designed for use with most intermediate meters. Connect the 12V and S1 connection of the gateway to the S0 connection of the intermediate meter.

Is the installation of the S0 gateway difficult?

We provide our gateway with an installation guide, allowing you to set it up yourself with ease.

Yes, the cable from the S0 gateway to the intermediate meter can be extended up to 15 meters. The gateway has screw terminals used to attach the sensor. This can be done with “thin speaker cable” of 0.5mmΒ² or 20AWG”

You can also use the S0 Gateway without home automation. This can be done with a subscription to our online dashboard. You can select this when adding the gateway to your shopping cart.

You can use your own sensor or the one that comes with the intermediate meter. Make sure your sensor operates at a voltage between 0 and 36V. NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) are supported.

Yes, you can. The Online Energy Dashboard works independently of other integrations.

Of course. The S0 Gateway tracks hourly, daily, monthly and yearly consumption for easy comparison.

Yes, this is possible. For example, you can connect your gateway to Domoticz, Homey, and Home Assistant, while also viewing usage through the Online Energy Dashboard.

You can choose to block internet access. The Gateway will still work without an internet connection. Of course, you will need internet access for OTA firmware updates.

Try to install the gateway in a dry location in your home where there is enough WiFi coverage. You can extend the sensor cable if nessecary. You can extend the cable with 15 meters.
