Optical Probe for Smart Meters
The Smart Gateways IEC 62056‑21 USB-C Optical Infrared Probe is a compact and robust reading module for electricity meters, water meters, and other measurement devices that comply with IEC 62056-21 / IEC1107 / DLMS / COSEM standards.
This probe allows easy bidirectional communication between a PC, tablet, or handheld device and the optical port of the meter. Thanks to the strong built-in magnet, reliable data transmission, and broad software support, it is an ideal tool for installers, utility companies, energy professionals, and home automation enthusiasts.
Note: This product includes hardware only (the probe). Reading smart meters always requires additional software, such as Home Assistant via IEC 62056-21 add-ons or plugins, Domoticz, or other IEC/DLMS-compatible software. Software is not included.
