Product Description
The Extension Module Kit allows you to extend the sensor cable of the Water Level Gateway up to 50 meters using a standard UTP cable (Cat5e or Cat6). These modules ensure signal amplification and reliable communication between the sensor and the gateway.
Directly extending the cable without these modules is not possible, as I²C signals become unreliable after just a few meters. Thanks to the built-in electronics, the signal is actively boosted and stabilized, so your sensors remain accurate even at longer distances.
The kit consists of two modules:
Module A: connected to the gateway with the included 50 cm RJ12 cable (RJ12 to RJ12 connectors)
Module B: connected to the sensor
Between these two modules, you simply use your own UTP cable.
